Dr. Brad Edgren recently lectured at the Argentine Society of Orthodontics’ headquarters in Buenos Aires,Argentina. The lecture, “The Fundamental Objectives of Early Intervention,” discussed the importance of appropriate early orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic intervention and the use of growth to develop normal jaw sizes and dentofacial relationships to accommodate the permanent teeth in growing children. The United Kingdom’s edition of “Orthodontic Practice” recently published Dr. Brad Edgren’s article on upper airway obstruction and orthodontics, according to a news release.

The paper discussed the orthodontist’s role and responsibility in diagnosing upper airway obstruction on the developing dentofacial skeleton of the young orthodontic patient, the release said.
